About Swann Morton
Swann-Morton was established in 1932 by Walter Swann, a craft apprentice, and Alfred Morton, a metallurgist. Trading at first as W. R. Swann & Co, the company made razor blades before moving into surgical blades, and it has been based in Sheffield ever since.
